EDUCATION

Too many politicians see giving parents the choice of which school their child can attend as a threat. No one should stand in the way of a parent who wants to move their child out of a school that is failing that student. While schools in our area are usually excellent, our state tax dollars are subsidizing failing schools in other parts of the state -- let's make sure our tax dollars are being strategically spent so that every child in our state has access to a top-notch education.
